Greetings from Deutschland!
Happy to report I arrived today in Kamen, Germany for the final leg of preparations before Champs. AC is holding a training camp just outside of Dusseldorf at a very impressive sports centre.
This is where the Spanish football team stayed in preparation of the 2006 World Cup, so that should sum it up. The rooms are great and we have the facility all to ourselves. I have only been here a few hours but it is very quiet and not much to do by way of entertainment. But I don't mind....since they have wireless in the rooms!

The training track is bright blue and right outside my door, it seems soft and that is ok since its better for training. Hard tracks are great for running fast but can beat your body up when training on them for longer periods.
I'll be here for 10 days to put on the finishing touches to my race and concentrating on what it is going to take to accomplish my goals in Berlin.
I love my odds at this point as my times have been consistently dropping in the latter stage of the season. I still feel there is so much more room for improvement as I have yet to execute the race I know I am capable of, but aim to.
