Charge It To The Game...

Finally some footage of the DN Galan race in Stockholm is up (I nub new "numbersix8"!). It is the final and not the heats where I ran a bit faster. I have been gleaning the internet for this all week trying to extrapolate the good and not so good parts. Video for a hurdler is priceless, because the race goes so quick and sometimes what you "feel" is not always how it went down.

It actually wasn't that bad, besides the fact that I kept twitching my backside in the set position! WTHWT?!. But I did think it was a total gong show.  Now not so much.

I needed to apply the same mental focus to that final like I did in the heats, instead of relying on muscle memory to carry me through the final. How ludicrous was that, I should  really have known better.

But a fierce race for all, and great feedback for me as I go into my fifth consecutive World Championship.
